wow, really?? everyone knows this time of year has been slow. We are all lucky enough that there is even a thread to swap for these kinds of eggs and others on different threads too. No sense causing problems. Thread starter has the say so. Be thankful, follow their rules, consider the time of year and be happy you have access to these breeds without the high cost of purchase.

Sorry, I was away all morning and didn't get to read the post until right now. I am so sorry to cause problems. I must say that I like the relaxed nature of this post BECAUSE it is a slow laying time of year.

My brahmas:


I don't know what lines they are, I impulse bought them from a man who was also selling the silkies at a show in Smithfield NC. The silkies ARE in with the brahmas but the silkies are only a few months old right now and they're not even crowing yet, so I have left them in the cage together because the silkies are comforted by being with the brahmas.

They're nice brahmas though, not bad coloring, nice and round with heavy brows, good undercolor on the hen, nice carriage on the cock.

I also have Lavender split ameraucanas, but there is one order ahead and I only have the one hen, who is working really hard, but it will be at least two weeks.

It would be easiest to combine the ams with one of the other breeds. Same with my Silver Laced Wyandottes

I would be willing to do any combination of the three if that suits your fancy.
