question on the SQ thing... i have pure silver grey dorkings, and would like to join this swap, but i don't know if ANY sg's are really 100% up to SOP, as the breed in general is in need of some serious help. but i'm working on improving the stock i've got. so would I be able to join the swap?

I'm not sure what the correct answer is, but it is hard to find a flock of birds that are all 100% up to the SOP. I know I'd take them ( I already have a couple . LOL !!)

That is my opinion. anyone else want to chime in !!

have you shown them? Were they disqualified? If you have shown them and they were not disqualified, then they should qualify for this swap.

no i haven't shown before, but I plan to start later this year... and I don't think they'd be dq. but the breed as a whole needs work IMO. the only primary source for silver greys is mcmurray hatchery.
I'm waiting for my young stock to mature a bit more before making any show decisions on them, but so far I like what i'm seeing.

My 2 cents is that they should be allowed. If you're breeding toward the standard and they don't have problems that will DQ them, I think that's makes them Show Quality.
