I went to a small poultry show the other day. I brought a young sebright pullet to the show and the judge told me
that my sebright was starting to get square lacing at the end of each feather. Does any one now how I can breed
this out? I think alot of my breeding stock may be like this. So im not sure if i breed this one to another i might be creating worse lacing.
I have not been in this long these are my first ever hatched pullets. The judge said i had great type though.

Any ideas would be helpfull thankyou!

Beautiful bird! Sorry I can't be of help. my daughter has Golden Sebrights, and I just wanted to compliment you on this nice specimen. I see what you mean about the square lacing. I would think a well laced Roo would help phase that out, and maybe keep good type from this little hen. Do you have any without that lacing but with good type that you could breed?
