square-head screws, your new best friend

I initially had trouble with Phillips screws, then I got a Bosch bit with "ribbed tip [that] withstands up to 50% more torque before camout." It really helped. I do prefer star drive screws, but have several boxes of Phillips screws already.

Well that's my problem as well. I have leftovers from about ten boxes of phillips heads. Oh well, I'll use them up.

If you want to avoid stripping philip's head screws, buy a quality bit. The bits with small ridges on them will not slip. they cost a very small amount of money more, but work great.
