Squash bug help needed

My garden is overrun with squash bugs. I do organic gardening and am looking for suggestions on how to control them. I have been manually picking them by hand and tossing them in soapy water to eliminate them. It works when I can keep up, however it's not always possible.

Any suggestions? My squash vines come up, grow their first two leaves, the leaves get eaten and that's that. If they make it past being a seedling they barely produce because their leaves are getting shredded. Two HUGE Zucchini plants produced 3 zucchini, that's not right.

The first one i got as a Christmas present and i have used it for the 1st time this summer. I haven't used it for squash bugs but for japanese beetles and squash vine borer eggs. I'm not sure if it would work for squash bugs. It does kill svb eggs and is sort of effective for the beetles. If a spray a bean leaf they won't bother it again but they simply moves elsewhere in the garden. It doesn't seem to kill Japanese beetles on contact though.


The second link is to a neem oil product. Neem oil afaik is the go to insecticide for organic gardeners. I haven't used it but several of the most subscribed organic gardening youtube channels seem to swear on it.

I've heard that Guinea hens will decimate a squash bug population, and leave the plants alone.

@lazy gardener I am hoping my guineas will eat the squash bugs. However I have 4 more weeks until I release them.

Augh! Now I am seeing squash beetles! Just sprayed with the neem oil. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I need the squash to supplement the duck feed bill in the winter
