I have a butternut, and a spaghetti squash. Can I feed these to the chickens, and what about the rind? Do I need to cook them first? Will take all the advice I can get. Thank You.

You can feed raw or cooked. Chop them lengthwise to expose the seeds. The chickens will eat the insides and leave the rind.

My chickens love squash. That's why they like Thanksgiving, left over pumpkin. I split them open and leave them for the chickens.

I'm going to try some acorn squash on my flock tomorrow ..I'll see how they like it!

Ours enjoy lefted over cooked squash, have not tried raw.
