Squatting

When your chicks start squatting, bout how long is it before eggs? We have 2 RIR's and a Golden Comet. Blondie the Comet is starting to squat when I let them out in the morning. She has been doing this for about 2 days. Are eggs comming soon?

Yep, you're right! That squatting is a sign of maturity in a hen (she's ready to mate), and rooster or not, eggs will be coming soon! Could be with a week or two. Golden Comets usually start a bit younger than the average 20 weeks.
