Squawking?

I have 31 chickens I have buffs polish EEgger spitshauben Wyandotte’s and they all range from 15 to 18 weeks old all pullets except one cockerel
I have one polish that’s squawking long and loudly all the time they all squawk a little bit but this one draws it out and she’s loud almost like she’s screaming
Why is she doing that? She’s eating sleeping walking around appears healthy in all ways that I can see , she’s a white crested polish 17 weeks old

She could be starting to sexually mature. Oftentimes they can get more vocal during that time. Polish can be odd birds, so that's always another reason why a polish would act odd.

Lol they are odd little things , do they sleep more when they are maturing or also molting?

They hide more when they are molting. Sleeping more could be a sign something isn't quite right, but every bird is different. As long as they are eating, drinking and scratching about it usually means they are okay.

When my four (buff Orps, GL Wyandotte, & black Australorp) were adolescents getting ready to lay they made so much racket I wanted to sound-proof the coop!

Right after they started laying they quieted down quite a bit. The exception is when they lay an egg, they perform their “egg song” which is not very musical.

Yeah, at least 20 or 30 times.
And the rooster yells right along with each hen. He's so proud!
It's especially joyful out there when more than one hen lays at a time, or if two hens rejoice over the same egg.

I wonder if it's a regional dialect. My hens bein' hillbillies 'n all.

Mine were all carrying on for a couple weeks before they were laying. Or thereabouts. They decided to all lay in the de lark eat corner of the run. Found 16 eggs in there and only one in the nest box when it was discovered. Maybe they were laying the whole time!
