Squeaky Little Crow from 3 Day Old Chick

I cannot believe what I just saw. My 3 day old baby chick just stood up on top of the feeder and made the longest squeekiest little "crow" I have ever seen. I can't stop laughing. Does this mean he is a roo, or is this like 1 week old human baies "smiling" and not actually possible but sure seemed like it....

I wish I could have taped it- I'm still smiling. So has anyone else experienced this? I can't wait to find out if "he" is really a roo- I bet if he is he is going to be very vocal lol

That would be something to hear! I don't know for sure if that is an indication it is a rooster, but my guess would be yes. Brace yourself, he is gonna be a talker!
