I just wanted to say that today while feeding critters, as my grandson & I walked behind the Toulouse goose house, we heard the unmistakable sounds of babies peeping! I couldn't see them, as they were underneath Momma, but we heard them.

I cannot get to them because they are against the far wall, with 3 other hens sitting on their nests on the wall closest to the door...one hen LITERALLY has her nest in the doorway!🤦‍♀️

I'm just going to leave them be, & pray things work out!

On a scary note, we heard our LGD going ballistic and when I went to see what the ruckus was about, there was a ENORMOUS raven sitting low in a tree, staring at the doorway of the goose house! 🤬

I battle ravens all the time. Up here they are protected, but that doesn't mean I can't make their lives miserable so they rethink their choices!👍
Thank you!😊

The ravens are huge & viscous! They kill baby reindeer by gouging out their eyes / brain. Then they leave them...they kill for sport!🤬

We also have crows in the state, but I haven't seen them around here.

This raven had to be a new comer as they usually fly away when they see us or the dog...this one I had to go after!🤬🤬🤬

Congrats on the babies!

Unnerving ravens by mimicry wouldn't have occurred to me. Making them miserable creates some interesting ideas swirling about in my head.

I see ravens when I go up north, but we don't have them here. I had no idea they were so vicious.

Crows, we have plenty, but no problems with them.

Hoping for the best with your little ones!
