This is the scene at my feeder almost 24/7. Anyone have the same problem and what do you all do about birds and squirrels eating your grain? Are we just expected to feed all wild things out there?
I'm sorry but that's cute "We're taking a trip in our favorite rocketship." The one little squirreley is waiting for take off. Is there anyway you can put the food in a pen or are the girls free range? IDK if hanging the feeder would help. Making a top would cut back SOME, esp if they are pooing in it.
I had been thinking of using the bird feeder cones that go around the bottom of the pole used to hold up the feeder, but then I was like, "How do the ducks get their food?"

We use that method somedays, but man, every time we get one, 5 more seem to appear! I guess it gives my DH something to look forward to....boys and their BB guns ;-)
