Squirrels!! Anyone else have problems?

Well, I confess I turned the electric fence on during the day when the squirrels figured out the new location of the feed. Didn't notice anything at the time, but now I see they don't go in the pen anymore. The gate to the pen is always open so the ducks can get to their feed all the time. There are lots of squirrels on the fence and trees surrounding our property, but they never seem to come in the pen anymore.

They sell motion sensors that squirt out jets of water at unwanted animals. You could try that.

I hate to mention this, but, in my humble opinion squirrels make better dumplings than chickens!

I have to say cute picture. As I feed all the animals that make my yard home I can't help with the peoblem. I do buy critter blocks and they like them better then the chicken and duck food that helps.

Personally I have guard chickens. They don't let the squirrels near the food. It's funny to watch a small flock of chickens chasing squirrels through the yard.

We live in the city, but we have dozens of squirrels that come and eat off the lawn where the chicken tractor was yesterday. We feed them inside.

Our dog loves to chase them. We have a New Guinea Singing Dog that climbs trees after them.

Tell me more about the dog. I have never heard of a dog that climbs trees. Maybe that's what I need....
