laurie we used to feed them all the time too..... till the raccoons started eating there too

Our yard is absolutely crawling with squirrels, but they've never bothered the chickens or the chicken feed.

My alpha hen is really protective of her food, though - pity the poor squirrel that tries to get some of hers!
