Squirrels?

I raise only ducks but lost many a nest to squirrels who eat the eggs. They also eat the duck food and only solutuon I have is a 22 caliber bullet. Its a constant battle though!

I rarely see a squirrel or chipmunk. That must be what my hawks eat.

A few days ago I found a squirrel hanging out in the chicken pen, amongst the four chickens, eating some BOSS or something that the chickens must have missed. He is a fat happy squirrel who eats most of the wild bird feed I put out before the birds can. I wondered if I should worry about the squirrel bringing mites or lice or anything to the chickens?

Our hut is near the trees full of grey squirrels. They only take the feed right now. The cockerel spotted them one day and scared them away. Do you have a cockerel? Hope it helps!
