Squishy breasts?

Just how it sounds, my 5 month old black silkie pullet's breast area is extremely squishy, like it's filled with fluid? She is acting normally but noticed it when I picked her up. The other two I have have firm breast areas. Is this a symptom of something? Thanks for any input

Don't know really. Maybe she is just a little fatty. does she eat more then the others or is less active then them?

Is it her breast or her crop? If it is hot and she has been drinking alot, sometimes their crop can be full of water and will feel squishy and not hard. I am not an expert, just a guess from me.

It feels like her breast, but it could be her crop, it has been super hot here and she may have drank a lot of water, but it felt lower than that. Thanks for the suggestion, it is a possibility so I will feel it again tomorrow and see if it has changed.

She is pretty active, she chases me around and pecks at my toes :/ I don't feed them a lot of pellets because I let them roam all day and give them a little at night, but I just toss it so I don't know exactly how much she gets?

If her behavior is fine, I would just watch her and feel of her again after you know she has eaten. Usually if one of our birds is not feeling well the first indicator is her behavior. That is my (limited) experience. Others might have other opinions.
