I am so impressed with the positive nature of the forums/blogs that people post on this website. I have learned a lot, just from speading hours reading what people have to say. So I have my 5 peeps, and the coop is in production.

Thank you all....
Yesterday bought 4 new chicks from the feed store: 2 Silver Lace Wyandotte, 1 Golden Wyandotte, and 1 Blk. Sex Link. This afternoon 1 of them died. Being a nubie, didn't know from the markings which one, so took it back to the feed store and they identified it as the Silver Lace Wyandotte and said they have been having alittle trouble with them. Bought 2 more and they suggested apple vinegar in the water, so we'll see what tomorrow brings. But it assured me that I am treating them right and it wasn't something I had done wrong with the chicks.
