SS Check

I usually get my SS check the second Wednesday but I got mine today. MONDAY. What's up with that. No complaining.

I already got my stimulus check right after they came out. I took SS off my ex husband until I turned 70 ( in March) so my account grew nicely. To the tune of about $600 more per month. It was far from $1400. I've gotten all the stimulus checks the government has given out.

My bank sent the notice of the deposit. And it said something to the effect that it was coming early and it might not come early in other months. I never get a notice from my bank about an SS deposit. Not even the stimulus checks. The amount is correct as I have Medicare and Part D taken out. I didn't know I had to apply for it at 70. They certainly didn't need me, to stop my ex's.

I always get my SS on the 3rd. Thought that was usual for everyone. Guess not.

The SS changed the dates several years ago. I don't know exactly when. Now the payment date is tied to your birth date.
