Umm, J is getting yelled at right now. There's about a dozen blrw that got put in the hatcher, she didn't think there were that many more in the bator. Anybody want any blrw chicks?

Guys, tell me if I have a hatching problem. The power went out last night for two hours. The temp dropped from 99 to almost 80, and the humidity went from 50 to 80 percent. After it came back on, it was back to what it should be in less than an hour, but what's my prognosis? I have 11/14 so far, but they were so dark when I candled them for the last time on Tuesday I don't know if I'd be able to see movement if I tried again. These babies are due next Thursday.

I also have some other questions for lockdown that I'll worry about after this.

Mary, they should be fine. Our power went out and they got down to 77 and we had a pretty good hatch.



As for the BLRW, we just don't have the room for them. Too many of them already.

April, if you want some we've got more than enough to spare. I've already got a bunch back in the growout that are going to go in the layer pen until we get up and running with brahmas.
