Last month I had a 'bator full of eggs. I candled at day 10 tossed some duds, well that freed up some space. I decided I'd try a staggered hatched. I put a couple eggs in. At day 18 I locked down the incubator and prepared for the hatch. The two test eggs were exposed to high humidity and no turning for 4 days (it took till day 22 for all my chicks to hatch). In the process of the others hatching the test eggs were knocked over and pushed around a little. When the hatch was over. I cleaned out the bator. Just a quick spray down and I place the test eggs back in and resumed turning (I have the auto cradle for the Brinsea). Two days ago it was lock down for the two test eggs. This evening will be the start of day 21.....but as of right now...I have a pip and I hear peeping.

I'm doing a tri staggered hatch in my brinsea eco 20... Lol lol.. I must be crazy. But i do belive i can make it work... the days between the staggers are 1st group to second group 14 days and 2nd to 3rd 8 days. So with two high humidity periods i'm hoping like crazy the 3rd batch makes it. I also just lock down 2-3 days before hatch stopping the auto cradle 2 days before. so I hope it this works. Will let you know
