Mrs Ginger (we call her), starts following me everywhere as soon as I'm within her eyesight.. she comes over peck at my feet, I give her treats, she pick at 'em a little then ignores... I walk away... back in the garage...follows.. then she squats for an hour or so.
Funny fact, she showed up one evening 6 months ago when I was closing up the coop. I put her in the "staging coop" then asked two of my neighbors who have chicks too but nope.. never heard.
She's up there in the pecking order, nobody picks on her, so doesn't seem like a "protection" thingy..( I had hens coop up with my Pyrenees)
She's also the friendliest, you can pet her anytime, she'll just stand still or lay down...
She's also a little cooky eyes.. lol... she doesn't seem to stress about anything... weird one.... lol
Long story short... She reminds me of "Little Jerry Seinfeld".. yea he was a rooster but so calm and all lol...
