He is either an RIR or a production red. I dunno which, though.

I like their look. But my DW was attacked by one as a young child, so I could not get one of that breed, she wasn't thrilled about me getting 2 Production RIR hens. The eggs make up for that. So I had to get a VERY docile breed for my rooster. She loves him. She also fell in love with a silkie rooster at the Clackamas County Fair. I hope I get one rooster of the 4 silkies I will be getting this week.
