standard buff brahma silkie cross?

I would like very much to know if it is possible to cross a standard buff brahma roo with a little silkie? will the eggs hatch? it may be a stupid question but i dont know much about this end of things. my brahma roo has been ignoring his sister brahmas and has been actively, um, making whoopi w/ my little silkie hens. If they go broody will they hatch or would that not work?

Should work. A lot of other forum newbies have asked a similar question & wondered if a bantam roo can successfully mate w/ a standard size hen & the answer seems to be yes. So, considering your roo is a standard size & the silkie is a bantam, things should work out just fine - just make sure your roo doesn't injure your silkies since he's larger. The babies will surely be very cute indeed. Please post pics when it happens, since all forum members are pic addicts.

It is possible to cross any type of chickens.

If you want cross bred chicks go ahead and incubate the eggs.
