For awhile I thought the black one was the only roo but then the others caught up to it and confused me. Lol now it looks more like a hen than the others. Standard Cochin take so long to let us know for sure. Haha

Black is definitely a pullet. Are there two splash birds? The one looks like a possible cockerel and the other a pullet.

I need to change my signature to include *Bantam*. LF and Bantam Cochins are so very different.

Post updated photos in a few more weeks!

Yes, the last 3 pictures are a different bird than the first 3. (There's only 1 black).
You are SO right about the bantam and the LF being very different. The LF take FOREVER to mature it seems. Oh but I love them 🥰

Bantam pullets are slow to mature as well. They actually color up slower than their LF counterparts. Bantam cockerels develop SO early though.

They are the best. ❤

I think the fact that I am so impatient makes it seem slower than what it actually is. Haha. I have 2 little bantam cochin/silkie roosters that are my little buddies. They stick together like brothers. So cute. But yes, I could tell with them pretty easily and early that they were both cockerels.
