My questions are: does anyone have a later edition of the APA Standard than 1998 and if so, would you please tell me the angle specified for the male and female tail? My '98 says up to 50 degrees for both. Is that still correct?

Still the same. It would be unusual for there to be a change in the tail angle described in the Standard.
