Standard Silkies?

I know that there are standard-sized silkies available in Asian countries, but it seems that only the bantam varieties are available here in the US. Does anyone know why? Does anyone know how I can get a bigger variety without breaking any importation laws?

You could create your own over generations by only breeding the largest in your flock together. Not the answer you were looking for I am sure, but it could be done.

Oh well. Thanks anyway! My mother-in-law is visiting family right now in Taiwan, I'll read up on importation laws and see if she will be able to legally bring me some fertilized eggs.
