Thanks everyone. The reason I say the brown eggs taste different is because a neighbor down the street gave us 12 dozen eggs and when I fried them up, they seemed to have a "stronger" flavor to them vs the regular ones at the store. And yes, I think it was the yolk that made it taste different....which I didn't really care for....guess it has been years I've been eating commercial eggs and have gotten use to them.
Again thanks for the info on which chickens I should focus on purchasing and how many I should get. I was figuring around 2-3 and go from there and see how they lay before getting any more.
