A top breeder started me with my SC REDS. He is a humble fellow but loaded with good information. He does win Best of Shows a lot but he deserves it. His birds are top notch. You can tell when you see them. He is a BYC member but I don't think he has posted in a few years. His kids are in sports and he coaches as a hobby too. Just a really nice fellow.
Those aren't a standard recognised colorooo how about isabelle leghorns
oh ):Those aren't a standard recognised color
Yes, as far as I knowI super fell behind on this thread Am I allowed to ask questions about standard breeding even if I don't have standardbred birds?
The standard in America is the APA standard. It's the big blue and gold book worth it's weight in gold (and priced that way too brand new)Ookee!
So the standard breeding- are there two different breed standards? I believe someone mentioned it on Moony's thread that there's an English and an American standard.
Is the fanned tail bad in a bird? I though it was good, but I could very well be wrong.
Those are my only questions ATM lol
Oh yeah, the SOP book that I thought about getting but is waaay overbudget. The standard in America is the APA standard. It's the big blue and gold book worth it's weight in gold (and priced that way too brand new)
