stange 10 week old hen

Ok i have a couple of 10 week old hens that will care for my 5 week old hens. What i mean is that the older hens will put their wings around the littler ones and act like an old mother hen litterally. Does this show that they might be good brooders or is it too soon to tell.

I have never seen this hapen with young hens.

thats a good sign.means your older hens are looking after an mothering the pullets.vary rare that you see hens do that.
