I have a 3.5 week old bantam polish chick in good body condition that started stargazing last night. It was healthy from hatch and actually the largest of the chicks. I hand fed it this morning. Is it worth trying to save it? Will it get over it or should I just put it out of its misery? I have never had a chick this old have this condition. What could have caused it? Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
Laura

Wry neck can be caused by an injury. B vitamins, selenium, and vitamin E are very good treatments along with islolation to keep them calm, quiet, and not get pecked by others while they are recuperating. Some cases are difficult, an some are cured fairly quickly. It is worth a shot. Here is thread about it: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/97121/lets-talk-wry-neck-crook-neck
