Start of angel wing?

My 2 ducklings are 5 and a half weeks now, they started growing blood feathers on their wings and I've noticed that on the bigger of the 2 the last 3 or 4 blood feathers on the wing tip stick up where as on the other duckling she seems to be able to tuck hers away out of sight. Is this or could this be the start of angel wing? I'll try and post a picture tomorrow but any thoughts in the mean time? All the pictures I've seen so far of angel wing shows birds with much more developed feathers, none of the wing feathers have unfurled or finished growing and I'm unsure whether you need to wait for this before taping or if its a case of the sooner taped the easier to fix? Thanks for any advice, I worry about doing the right thing for the little guys!

Thankyou for that link, Mamaduck's pictures look a little like my guy's blood feathers, they have come through so suddenly its like there isn't enough room for them all to fit under, the smaller girl hasn't grown quite so long yet and she tucks them quite happily under her wing.

Last year when my duckling started growing his blood feathers he had alot of trouble holding them up, they get very heavy and it takes a while before they have the strength to keep them where they are suppose to be. I haven't had to deal with Angel wing but i know others on here have so just hang in here and hopefully someone will be along to help. I believe Celtic Oak Farm has posted about it before but I couldn't find it when i looked.

I dealt with angel wing with a 6 week old swedish. He just couldnt hold in his flight feathers and they were always slipping down on one side only. We followed a video for how to tape them up did it for a week (always giving him a little free time each day) and he is beautiful now no issues. A couple of tips just because we went through several attempts before we found one that our duck would allow. We used vet tape for the actual wing itself (sticks to itself but not any feathers!). This alone is not sufficient because they can easily pick this off with their bills. So you must wrap that wing close to their body so the wing will heal properly. Here is where we tried several things. Vet tape around the body - didnt work. Cutting up a sock and wrapping around the body - didnt work. Cutting up a pantyhose and wrapping around the body - didnt work. We finally found the perfect solution with the leg wraps for horses (had to buy 3 extra which was the expensive part) so find a friend with horses

. We cut the wrap to be able to wrap around our duck several times. The fabric is very soft and somewhat movable so it was the 1st one he would settle with. Now he jumped around like a jumping bean at 1st - but soon he settled and it quickly became a routine each night. We would give him an hour free to clean and flap his wings.
