Start of rooster spur?

So I'm starting to think that 3 of my 4 chicks are roos. 3 have this little bump on their legs, right above their foot. They are also especially spunky and "face off" against each other. Ugh. Is this the start of rooster spurs or do hens have this as well? This one is 3 weeks old.

Spur bumps and "facing off" are not indicators of cockerels. Pullets will fight, pullets have spur bumps.

I have had many hens with spurs--sometimes longer than a rooster's.

Ok that makes me feel better... We cannot have roosters in HB. I was thinking that I would be left with one lonely chick! We shall see eventually I guess! What happens if I AM left with one? Isn't it difficult to bring in another chick with an older one?

Can be but there a great articles on here telling you how.
