Start taking them out to the Coop during the day?

We have 8 chicks that are 2 1/2 weeks old and my daughter would like to take them out to their new coop to spend some time in it during the day. When we had the coop built it was custom designed and I had a poop box made under the roost area to catch some of the poop thinking we could put Sweet PDZ in it and then we can scoop it out to clean it. Is it safe for them at this young age and they won’t be harmed if they peck

at it will they? I’m new to this and would be heart broken if I made them sick...

Google says it's non-toxic and a mineral from volcanic activity called zeolite.

It should be fine. I've used it with adults with no ill effects before.

Thank you but by the looks of the chicks nursery, it won’t look that nice for long!!
