Started a Blog on Sewing & Chickens

I started a new blog today on Sewing and Raising chickens and anything else I can think of. I only have one post, it's on a pin cushion sewing project with more to come for the holidays.

Very cute pincushion! I love that idea.

I sew, too. Mostly kid related stuff - cloth diapers, slings, baby/toddler clothes and dolly clothes (especially American Girl doll clothes). Although lately, I've mostly been sewing patches on Girl Scout uniforms.

It's ironic that because of the kids, I don't have time to sew all the cute stuff I want to make for them. When I have the time, the kids will be too old for them.

I started sewing because of my daughter. I couldn't get over the price of baby clothes so I figured I give it a try.

Do you sew everyone's patches on? I charge 2 bucks for each one, and I usually got all of them to do in the troop. One less thing for the other moms to do and enough money for a coffee and muffin, lol

I'm sewing up some Christmas presents. I have also made several feed bag totes for my grocery shopping and they have generated quite a bit of interest. So, for several individuals, their gifts will be going in a feedbag tote.
