Started building - look what we have so far ... UPDATE !!! Moving day

A weekend of DH and FIL working hard (and thinking even harder) and this is what we have so far.
We are not moving very fast since the two guys like to "over-engineer", but I am not complaining

I told him I wanted about 60 square feet and this is what he is building....8x12 with 8x8 coop and rest brooder/storage area. The girls are 1 week old and I hope to move them in when they are 4 weeks.

Unfortunately DH had to travel for work a lot and we didn't get a lot done....... of course it would go faster if he hadn't decided to go with that fancy roof line

I just can't wait to get the chickies in there. Hopefully by next weekend we can start (AND FINISH) the roofing and siding. But since I always enjoy seeing other peoples coops in progress here are some pictures what we did this weekend.

over engineer is right, you could store a locomotive on that floor (if it were big enough) absolutely beautiful. Keep posting the pictures!

OMG! thats not a coop it looks bigger than some houses i've seen (LOL)... Great job, just started mine today.. Not as large though. Can't wait to see the finished product.
