Started First Hatch Tonight!

So, the time has come.
Only chickens in.
Incubator sat steady at 100°for 4 days and between 40-50% humidity.

Questions;
1)Is my humidity too high?
2)Looking at the picture, is the lid I am using enough of an angle to keep the eggs?
3) When I put the eggs in tonight, the incubator dropped to 80°. Though it is rising now, did I cause a booboo?

Most people incubate at 40-50 humidity, I stick around 25-30. The angle should be a minimum of 45 degrees. Achieve this by placing a 2x4 or book of equal size under one side of the incubator and then alternating sides when it comes time to turn. This allows you not to have to open the incubator and maintains stable temps. Research shows that drops and spikes in temperature do not cause as many problems as people think. Periodic temps of 104 do not negatively impact embryo development. Prolonged periods will. Anything lower than 100 will result in slower development.

Ok. I raised my eggs this am. Probably still not high enough, but I will do it again when I turn them tonight.

I can't seem to keep the thermostat on top of the eggs at this angle, and can't see it through the glass.

I wonder how accurate an external thermostat would be? Thoughts?
