Started laying then stopped

I got two eggs the other day, one the next day and now I haven't had any for the past few days.
They are 16 weeks, so I didn't expect to get eggs this early but was happy when some started laying.
Could it be the heat? Or could something else be going on.
Please let me know anyone

Sounds perfectly normal for new layers. They often skip days in the beginning until their body gets into a rhythm. The heat is probably not helping any, but unless they look sick I wouldn't worry about it. Congrats on your first eggs!

Thank you for getting back to me. We did find an egg tonight, so I'm pretty happy.
I wont worry anymore then.
I'm so excited that they have started laying, its fun to go out in the morning to let them out and then go on an egg hunt lol.

I agree it is normal for first time layers. The eggs will come. I love to go out and collect the eggs too.
