I lockdowned yesterday. I have 7 Serama, and one silkie in the bator right now. this is my first incubation, i hope it goes well

I locked down tonight...3 white leg horns, 4 barred rocks, and 2 easter eggers. This is my second hatch and is going well so far, started with 12 eggs, had one infertile and 2 early quitters and every one else is moving all about. I just hope it goes better than last time...out of 12 eggs I only got 1 wonder chick...

Yes!! I just locked down 4 hours ago -- 7 Black Copper Marans eggs, and 8 Blue & Splash Marans eggs!

I stared lock down at 9:00 pm last night 5-6 I'm Hatchin 9 eggs one looks like a double yolker it's about 3" long and 2" wide so I'm thinkin so I'm hatchin ameracana Plymouth rocks buff orpingtons and some leg horns. The only reason I'm hatching again is I had a masacur 4-17 so started the bator and threw in there eggs that they laid that day

Wow chadr7850, what happened? I am building my coop now and I am so nervous about predators...I've lost more than 1 animal to raccoons and foxes

Holy cow... Last night I checked the incubator for humidity and temp before I went to bed... All was good... No pips... I check on it first thing this morning... And a chick hatched 1 1/2 days early!!! I must have grabbed one that the mom was already sitting on! It was a clean and healthy zip/chick. Happy Mother's Day to me!
