started pullet feeding question...

I'm planning on getting 2 17 week old pullets from meyer hatchery to add to my flock of 10 week olds. My birds are still on grower feed and do the 17 week olds need layer feed? Do i need to feed them seperately?

I'd feed them all grower til the pullets start laying.

You could feed everybody grower and just give some oyster shell on the side. The ones that need it will eat it, the others will leave it alone. When they are all laying, switch to layer feed.
