Started pullets vs. baby chicks pros & cons?

I learned the hard way that ready to lay pullets from a hatcherry may have been de-beaked. I didn't know to check and didn't notice until I unboxed them at home. I'm not sure the beak will ever grow back on the one sweetie. She is the smallest and I am beginning to worry she may never lay. Also worry about another whose beak is two different lengths. Both have trouble pecking or eating from anywhere than the feeder where they can scoop feed. The third one appeared to have a full beak but upon closer inspection it has grown back and not normal.

Big Con to started pullets, depending on where you get them........
......bring pests and/or disease into your brand new coop.
