So here it is, I've got most of the posts in the ground. I had all the posts but one, the 4x4's were left over from rehabbing the deck on our old house, and the 6x6's were left over from our front porch here, when we decided we didn't need four 6x6's LOL. The corners will be 6x6s, and the "line posts," will be the 4x4s. I will have 3 "rails," that are 2x6, one at the top, one 4ft down, and one 2ft down from that. The bottom bit will be hardware clothe, and then the top will be "kennel wire," which is a 2x2 wire you can get from homedepot. The wood will get painted, and I'll be using a chainlink gate probably, covered with hardware clothe...depending on whether or not I want to rescue the welded gate that we found in the barn. Since taking this photo, I've done the next 6x6 on the end there, where it's lying down... HOWEVER I can't finish (put the remaining 2 posts in the ground) until we pull the truck up to the building tomorrow morning and finish the back of the building. I figured that I should get the posts in the ground before it snows, so at least I have them in there and I can spend the extra time just getting the wire, etc up, and not worry that I have a time limit.
