starter feed

I went to a local place to get medicated starter feed. The owner hooked me up with 50lbs. of what he said was medicated starter feed: "This is what you need."
Tonight, as I went to open the bag it just said "Poultry Feed". Should I trust this guy's word? Take the feed back?
Any opinions?

What does the feed look like? I know at my local co-op they have a generic bag that just says poultry feed on it, but it has a tag sewn in to the bottom seam that actually tells what it is.

If in doubt, take it back. But I'd say it's probably the right stuff.
