Starter/grower or layer feed?

So I have a small flock of 6 that I purchased when they were a day or so old on April 1st. I have recently gotten four eggs from one pullet, but the other 5 are not laying yet. I am nearing the end of the bag of chick starter and wondering if I need to go ahead and buy a bag of layer feed even though there is only one laying. Or should I buy another bag of starter? Thank you for any help!!

I prefer starter/grower/all flock with oyster shells offered separately as a calcium source for the whole life. That said, if your other birds are approaching expected point of lay for the breed, you could go ahead and switch to layer.

I’d go with grower feed and calcium available for the layer(s). When they’re all laying you can switch to layer (and still offer calcium).
