I am a scouter - My kids both in scouting.
I was a 4-H er as a kid.
So, since we got some chickens - I considered finding a 4-H club to join - only the only clubs in Jax are Rabiteers only!
So I am starting a 4-H club.
I need 3 more kids - can count my own 2 in the 5 required and I have some paperwork to fill out. Background check make sure I am a safe volunteer...
What is totally wierd? Jacksonville Florida in Duval county - the FAIR is not considered an agricultural fair - Now I am a city girl from San Jose California... our Santa Clara County fair was Agricultural - How is it that a County fair is not AGRICULTURAL - ???? Is County fair by definition fall into agriculture -best canned,,,,,biggest grown,,,,,....Scratch my head in wonder.
Any words of wisdom? I have been a cubmaster, denleader, camp director........So I think me personally, I can do this - but in terms of chickens and chicken projects -looking for some words of wisdom!
