Starting about 18 BCM eggs tonight. March 24th /25th hatch

great idea! so far she's been eating and drinking and playing right along with the others so I'm not sure why she closes her eyes the way she does...my husband said she seems the weakest

ok so my chicks that were suppose to hatch out on Friday, i was able to toss 3 tonight. But there is one that you can see all the veins. Yesterday, I thought it was dead. Tonight, I candled it and the light changes through the middle of the egg. So something is causing the light to shift, right, like a moving chick? I swear my hand was steady and so was the table I was using.

I finally feel excited. My DH saw it too. I am so excited, I hope, fingers crossed.

My broody hasnt given up. She is hungry, i put the food and water to her face while she sits on the eggs. She ate a lot tonight.
