starting my first Coop

Hello, my name is Rosa and I recently purchased some silver laced chickies. I’ve wanted to do this for a while and when I bought my house last year I knew I knew I would be getting my coop. I’m excited but also really nervous.

Nothing to be nervous about, they are so fun and for the most part very easy. Just provide clean water, food, and attention and keep away critters. This and local chicken facebook groups are great resources for those of us still learning.

Your babies are adorable! If you would like to share more Pictures and Stories of them, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.
