Starting my very first chicken experience from scratch!

Hi everybody

This looks like a great forum for chicken enthusiasts! I've always loved chickens since I was a little boy. I realized the first time I held a chicken I could feel that it like being held.
From that moment I decided that one day I want my own chickens!
And now, finally, after probably 15 years I have a place where I can do so. I live in northern New Mexico, and for Xmas present my BF got me a Reptipro 5000 Incubator and 24 fertilized eggs on its way. I AM THRILLED!
