Starting on a coop

Using pallets, will detail progress here. Limited to sat & sun mornings because I work mon-fri and FL gets hot quick.

I'm following because I have a potential supply of pallets available and will be building more structures on the new property after the house is in place.

Since you're in a hot, steamy climate, you might want to consider a monitor roof. I loved the way that my little coop was never any hotter inside than it was outside.

I had the pop door open 24/7 except in emergencies. It's being renovated, and will add an additional window instead of the rightmost nestbox.

Next step is framing the bottom with 2 x 4's so i can put a floor down.

Oh sorry I assumed you were going to leave it open since your in Florida I would just put wire on it and leave it my birds love the open coop I'm in Ohio so I have inserts that fit in the frame for winter does it even get cold where you are like below 60°
