I ordered mine last friday and they shipped monday and arrived today thursday. and the shipping was 21 bucks from Penn. to Colo.

That is great. I am building a coop that is 4'x6' with an attached 6-7' run. Do you think I can have up to 8 chickens there?

Yup. I would think you could fit a few more too Do you plan to let them free range? If you can I would. They might start to fight with a smaller spaced run.
