Hello All, glad to be here. After more than a year of research and planning, my daughter and I will be starting our first flock of laying hens in the spring. We are very excited about our new venture. We are hungry for information and look forward to learning from the experiences of other members.

Glad you joined us!

Welcome, I have had chickens for about three years now and this site will for sure be your best friend. I have learned so much and have even started a blog just about my life experiences from home stuff to of course my CHICKENS!! They are so spoiled. It is such a wonderful experience and you will never want a store bought egg again. Feel free to ask questions about anything and everything because trust me someone else has run into the same problems. I started with 4 bantams and not have 6 bantams and 16 egg layers and I love it.

Good Luck.
