Hi! I can't post pics of my super cute chicks yet, but hopefully soon! I am a new, new, new chick raiser. I have 15 pullets and 9 unidentified roos that will be yummy come summer.

I have:

4 EEs
3 Barred Rocks
3 New Hampshire Reds
1 Production Red
1 Black Astralorp
3 White Leghorns

And I would like to someday add some Buff Orpingtons and maybe Marans.

My chicks are 5.5 weeks old and really filling out. I can not believe how much they eat!!!!! But very cute and varying personalities. The Rocks and EEs seem the most inquisitive and friendly. I'm waiting for warmer weather to move them outside to a coop. Right now they are in a brooder pen in the garage. Pretty easy to care for so far, though.

I look forward to learning a lot!
